You are looking at a pair of books by Alexander Maclaren, Sermons Preached at Manchester: Second Series ( third edition, 1873 ) and Sermons Preached at Manchester: Third Series ( fourth edition, 1878 ). The two hardcovers contain a total of 728 pages and were both published by Macmillan in London. The books are in fair to good condition with some corner and upper spine damage, as well as various page imperfections, including penciled notations and underlining and some bent page corners. Other general wear should be expected.SYNOPSIS: A selection of 43 sermons by an esteemed preacher of the late 1800's who was twice president of the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
