Seth Thomas Ship ClockAn unusual clock in a nickel/chrome plated case!'s one very nice looking and perfect working Seth Thomas Clock. It has been recently cleaned and oiled and is keeping very good time. The movement is one of those wonderful platform type escapement models that Seth Thomas used on only their finer marine clocks. It has a jeweled escapement and a bi-metallic balance with an over-coiled Breguet hairspring and gold timing screws! You can't get much better than this for a vintage Seth Thomas. The case is in very good shape although it does have some wear, light scratches and some dark blemishes, but nothing dramatic. Most are on the body of the case w they are less likely to be seen too. The only fault is that the key latch is broken as seen in the last image. The lock itself is intact but it came with no key for this. The bezel does close and will sit flush even without the lock. But if you wanted to fix, it shouldn't be too difficult. The dial is also in very good condition, showing only minor blemishes. Glass and hands are perfect. Case diameter (bezel) - 7 1/5"Dial - 5 1/4"Depth - 3 1/4"A wonderful clock, including a winding key, ready for your collection!Shipping and handling - $25 Insurance IncludedThanks for bidding and please have a look at my other watch related material for sale from the estate of a retired read more
