This is a very pretty bone china tea cup and saucer set in the Gainsborough shape in an unknown pattern made by Shelley China, England 1945-1966. The pattern is of lovely robin's egg blue exterior with a rose motif in the cup and the center of the sacucer with gold trim. The cup and saucer are in very good ++ condition with no chips or cracks, but the saucer has a stilt mark where it was supported in the kiln. I suspect this was a second because of that and the fact that the cup is unmarked but unmistakably Shelley Gainsborough. The cup measures 2.5 inches high and the saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter. A lovely set and a gorgeous color. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority Insured.
