Sherco II Baseball Simulation1977 Major League Baseball Player Ratings and Ballparks!!!Sherco Games Inc. created a unique entrant into the baseball game market in the 1970s. Sherco incorporated a visual element that was missing in the presentation of other maufacturers like Strat-o-Matic, APBA, and Statis Pro. A "gridded" baseball field, defensive positioning of players, and ballpark factors, were a few of the innovations that Sherco introduced. This copy, for the most part, is a very good example. The game box has some wear and missing paper where tape was removed but is still in good shape. There is also some small writing in pen on the cover.The box also served as the shipping container and has a mailing label affixed on the bottom. The contents are in very good condition. The newspaper style newsletter that contains the player ratings for the 1977 season is a little brittle with some yellowing but still in fine shape. The game contents include:Large Folding Baseball Field Strategy Playbook and Instructions Newsletter with Player Ratings Tokens (wood and cardboard) to represent players in the field.
