SHILLINGS x 100: £5 face value of pre 1947 silver - mixed grades (my ref. 87.5) The dates are as follows (E = English and S = Scottish): 1920 x 4, 1921 x 4, 1922 x 4, 1923 x 2, 1924 x 1, 1925 x 1, 1926 x 2, 1927 1st type x 1, 1927 2nd type x 1, 1928 x 5, 1929 x 6, 1930 x 1, 1931 x 1, 1932 x 2, 1933 x 4, 1934 x 1, 1935 x 3, 1936 x 6, 1937E x 1, 1938E x 1, 1939E x 3, 1940E x 3, 1941E x 2, 1942E x 4, 1943E x 2, 1944E x 3, 1945E x 4, 1946E x 3, 1937S x 2, 1938S x 1, 1939S x 2, 1940 S x 3, 1941S x 2, 1942S x 4, 1943S x 2, 1944S x 3, 1945S x 4 and 1946S x 3.They are all .500 silver. The total weight is 552 gms which is 8.87 troy ounces of pure (100%) silver.Some of the coins are scrap, some are in high grades and the rest are around above average circulated condition.Please email me if you have any queries or require additional information. Please note that Royal Mail have substantially increased all their postage charges from 30th April 2012. Customs Labels: All packages posted to countries outside the UK and European Union must display a customs label. This will show the full value of the contents (rounded to the nearest pound). Please do not ask us to show a lower value as this is completely illegal and also against eBay’s rules. Please note: From personal experience, a small proportion of packages sent to countries outside the UK are routinely checked by the destination country’s customs authorities. Any customs duties, import levies or postal surcharges that might be applied in your own country are entirely your responsibility. This applies to all goods traded throughout the world. PayPal Buyer’s Guarantee: In order to comply with the terms of the “PayPal Guarantee” scheme, we must obtain proof of delivery. Some buyers do not seem to realise that PayPal will recover the cost of any successful claim made under this scheme, from the seller! For this reason, we have to use tracking services with the appropriate level of compensation cover for all higher value items. In the UK this is “special delivery”. For all countries outside the UK this is the “Royal Mail International Signed-For service”.
