You are buying an authentic signed ALISON KINNAIRD etched crystal Orrefors “Midsummer Night’s Dream” whiskey decanter set. The decanter measures 5 3/4 inches by 7 1/2 inches without stopper and 10 inches with stopper. It features a hand etched design consisting of “Puck” or Robin Goodfellow and Hermia. Puck is etched into one side of the decanter and Hermia is etched into the other side. When you look at it straight on it forms one scene. The side of the decanter features etched leaves, branches, and birds. The stopper features a large etched flower. The bottom of the decanter is signed “ALISON KINNAIRD” and “ORREFORS H 2487” I believe. It is hard to make out the last two numbers. The glasses measure 2 1/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches. Each glass features a different fairy; PeaseBlossom, Cobweb, Moth, and Mustardseed. Each of the glasses is signed “ALISON KINNAIRD” on the bottom. Alison Kinnaird is one of the world’s leading engravers, with work in public, royal, and private collections throughout Europe, America, and the Far East. She is a recipient of many awards and winner of many competitions. Her contribution was recognized in 1997 when she was presented with an M.B.E. for her services to art and music.
