Please check my other auctions for a collection of edged weapons. I do not know much about them and this is the only information that I received for each item: An Antique Japanese Sword with Writing Under the Handle last owner known to have owned it for over 35 years and said it may be several hundred years old. cutting edge of blade measures 17.5 inches. ornate iron hand guard with open work measures just under 3 inches. t are no cracks, bends or forging flaws in the blade. the blade has some very minor chips and some fingerprint staining. the edge is still very sharp and the temper line is hard to see but is visible on both sides. the handle is complete and has iron dragon figures with silver eyes under the wrap. t is a small spot of fraying on wrap. the ornate end cap is black with gold vines. the wood scabbard is covered in leather that is in good condition for its age.
