Signed adorable and delicate hand painted tin-glazed Majolica 2-piece sheep box is sure to bring a smile to your face, even if you never use it as a box. Done very much in the style of a fine Staffordshire piece, it's still very much Italian. White tin glaze over terra cotta, he colors are rust and black, with the faintest of pink inside the ears. Both halves are numbered inside with 67 (I assume that's the artist or piece number), and it's signed ITALY on the bottom. A very charming little box! Unsure of age or maker, but based on the rest of the estate, I'd say this hails from the 1950s. No damage anywhere that I can see. 4 1/2" tall x 6 1/4" long x 3 3/4" wide.
