This listing is for a wonderful and fine-quality Longaberger Founder's Market Basket -- it comes in excellent condition with basket, lid, plastic liner and green floral handle cover. The basket is made of 100% hardwood maple and has a water-based enamel finish! It has a Stairstep Weaving style! The basket could also be used as a picnic basket for your summer outings! It measures approximately 15" x 10" x 8" and has two swinging handles as shown! The top rim has a braided leather trim strap. The cloth handle cover closes with velcro. The basket looks like it was never used! The original brochures are taped to the bottom of the clear plastic liner inside. The base is initialed and dated by the basketmaker and dated 2000. This basket has a special message burn-in on the base as shown. A wonderful collectible piece ~ super estate find!
