Picarrou SILVER RELIC OF 2 SAINTS WITH DOCUMENT 1854 This item is in accordance with Ebay rules regarding relics and is allowed since it contains no human remains but objects of religious devotion. Please contact me if you have any questions. Real silver case 1,3 inches high with hanging hook with the relics of 2 saints: St. Clare of Assisi, virgin and St. Matilda, Queen of Saxony. Silver theca case with hallmark decorated on back with the crucifixtion scene. Under glass, on a red cloth interior with gold metallic thread trim, the relics of the saints which are placed on golden backings with name labels that reads " S.Clarae, v - S.Mathild, r ". The back of the case is very firmly sealed but can be opened to view string seals and official eccesiastical red wax seal with cardinal's hat and stem, all intact. The relic is accompanied by its latin document or certificate (16 x 10 inches ) with seals, ink text and signatures dated 1854. This document is in very good condition with only a few age stains and folding marks Antique silver relic item in excellent condition with very minor signs of age, on the back case the face of Christ on the cross is a little worn due to touchwear.
