Very charming 7 1/2-inch Simon & Halbig mold #1079 bisque swivel head doll with blue glass sleep eyes, high cheek color on fine quality bisque, an open mouth, painted lashes, her original pate and wig, a 5-piece strung composition body with painted shoes and her original outfit including a lace-trimmed cotton chemise with attached drawers and rear button closure and a pretty red checked dress with embroidery and a tiny collar and a matching hat. In excellent condition with no flaws to the bisque head and only some minor soiling or age discoloration to the clothing, otherwise appears unplayed with. This doll is one of a recently purchased collection that has been in a sealed display case for the past sixty-five years, several more of which are also currently listed for sale in separate auctions.
