Royal Saxe ES Germany Portrait Sitting Bull Plate This is a beautiful plate which appears to be one of several plates with the Native American Chief portraits. This was manufactured by ES (Erdmann Schlegelmilch) Germany probably soon after Chief Sitting Bull's death in 1890. Chief Sitting Bull was the leader of the Dakota Sioux and lead a rebellion against the white men who were trying to relocate them. The plate is in excellent condition considering it's age. T are no chips or cracks on it. The paint shows a bit of wear in a few spots which I tried to capture in the photos. PayPal is preferred.
