This is a reproduction of a beaded blanket strip made of lightly smoked, brain tanned deerhide. The four rosettes are each 5.5" across and have a red, trade wool inset in the center, with double brain tanned thongs and a 1/2" brass hawk bell. I tied the hawk bell to one thong only, that way they can be removed easily if desired, or just another knot to cinch it tightly in place. The beaded band on the strip is 3.5" wide, and the overall length of the complete blanket strip is 56". Beadwork is done in red, dark blue, yellow and white. Please see the photos. I don't generally put reserves on auctions, but have what I consider a modest reserve which is roughly twice the starting bid amount. I felt it was necessary due to the time and material required to create one of these blanket strips. Buyer pays $15.00 for USPS insured, Priority Mail. Paypal, USPS money orders, cashier's and personal checks are all okay. I do reserve the right to hold shipment for a personal check to clear. Please email with questions and thanks for looking.
