SIR STIRLING MOSS, OBE
SIGNED AUTOGRAPH LARGE 12"x10" PHOTOGRAPH
HAND SIGNED - WITH LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY INCLUDING SIGNING DETAILS
You are bidding for the item shown - a 12"x10" photo hand signed by Sir Stirling Moss, OBE (16 F1 race wins between 1951 and 1961). The photo is a rare photo of Stirling driving a Mercedes Benz W196 Monoposto, waving to the crowd. This was the car that Stirling drove to victory at the British Grand Prix in 1955 (the first time a British driver had won in Britain), beating Juan-Manuel Fangio by half a second. The photo was taken at the 2009 Goodwood festival, where 80 of Stirling's cars were available to view, to commemorate Stirling Moss' 80th Birthday. The photo features a small white border around the main image.
