SKYBLADE KNIFE by Todd Orr. /index.htm This is a special modified version of Todd Orr's Madison Eight custom hand made knife. This version is ATS-34 with a Rockwell hardness rating of 61. Dementions are 12.5 long,7.25 cutting edge,SHARPENED SWEDGE 3.5,and 1.25 at the deepest. The razor sharp swedge is unique to his standard model and as all his work is FLAWLESS!! The scales are a matched pair of Presentaion Grade Madison Maple. He is OUT of this material and it can not be replaced. The tree was one of kind. The following is Todd's description. The list price on this is $370.00 plus $40.00 for the sharpened swedge, and $20.00 more for the Madison MapleBurl in Presentation Grade matched pair. Handle material is a stabilized and very beautiful hardwood called Madison Maple Burl. This piece has some contrasting swirls within the grain,and a bluish green color throughout about 90% of the handle. Madison Maple was brought to the Madison Valley, Montana as a young sapling on a wagon trainin 1864, and planted on a homesteaded ranch along the Tobacco Root Mountains just west of the Madison River .
