Slice-A Chassis kit for the Traxxas Slash 2WD The Slice A chassis will make a big change in how your Slash handles. Makes it a whole new truck. The frame system is very ridged, and quite strong. The Frames are made of a composite material. Very strong stuff! The frames blocks and rear bumper mounts are all aluminum. The kit comes with all quality hardware. Allen caps all the way around. Besides the low pan, which makes a hugh difference! The transmission is turned around. This gets the motor weight in front of the rear axel. Having the weight farther forward make the truck turn better, and it doesn't push nearly as much as you come out of a turn. It also helps a lot with jumping. The Slice has much more control of it's attitude when jumping, this way you can jump higher and farther without the nose ballooning out. I have also placed the battery sideways. And a little farther forward. This gives the truck less body roll. Like a tight rope walker, Or like in an airplane. The closer the weight is to the centerline, the easier it is to roll. You want the weight low and to the out sides. You can romp over rough terrain and the truck wants to stay level. Woops are nothing for it. With this chassis t is some adjustabilities. You can place the speed control in a few different places, you can move the battery a little forward and backwards. read more
