Sm 11" ANTIQUE~WOODEN~OUT OF ROUND~CHOPPING~BUTTER BOWL Search THIS AUCTION IS FOR A SMALLER BLUE PAINTED OUT OF ROUND CHOPPING~BUTTER BOWL This bowl has a wonderful BLUE paint that has worn off on the back, with the wear and markings usual for it's age . T are two splits on the bowl, which is pretty typical for it's age. It is an old bowl not a reproduction. THIS BOWL MEASURES 10-7/8" BY 9-6/8" ACROSS. IT IS MADE OF MAPLE TURNED BY A VERY TALENTED WOODEN BOWL MAKER. THIS BOWL HAS SOME WEAR ON THE BLUE PAINT. The bowl is from the late 1800's but am not sure of the age of the paint.
