SNUFF BOTTLE Peking Glass TWO COLORS Birds Flowers THE VIERA GALLERY is pleased to offer a VINTAGE PEKING GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE Two Colors Birds on Flowering Tree Beautiful two color Peking Glass snuff bottle in fine condition. Three birds are perched on a flowering tree. A lotus surrounds the bottom. Long carved leaves cover the lower half of the neck. The glass is red over a granular white/clear base. Multi-color Peking glass is rarer and more valuable than single color. Considerably more skill and planning is required to execute multi-color designs. The bottle body is thick and heavy. Interesting, colorful design nicely executed. Perfect condition. Likely not the original cap. 1.75 in w x 3 in h/ 43 x 75 mm. The side bears the mark of the Qianlong Dy. 1736-1795. However, this is likely an excellent vintage reproduction. This is a quality piece you will be proud to display or give to that discriminating special someone.
