Ok This is a great piece rich with modern American glass history. This bowl was originally made in 1903 by the McKee Glass company and they called it aztec. Another great American glass company called Smith glass, they have still survived and have created this grandiful bowl in the mid sixties. This is the only mould purchased by LE Smith that kept its original name. Today its a bold and beautiful hue. Soft and yet a true classic with the introduction of an original recipee of antique glassware. Newly made from the original mould. This lovely bowl measures 7" wide and 3 1/2" deep. This beautiful blue bowl has an ornate rolling hobstar zippered rim. A compliment to any table. The glass is a quarter inch thick. Mint condition. The value of this line has increased and prices are documented forever with the publishing of the History of LE Smith The first 100 years. Once America had thousands of glass companies.
