is a beautiful little SONY transistor radio, probably from the 1960s. The sticker that was once attached to the back is mostly gone, so I can't tell you the model number, will just have to describe and picture. It is a seven transistor (small tag on lower left grill), off-white in color, and is called a "handy personal" all transistor radio. It has a handle on top that is intact and still firmly attached, though t are some hairline cracks running out from w the posts are (can see in picture of top). This radio works well and the sound is pretty remarkable for its size, good tone and plenty of volume to fill a large room. Station numbers are reverse painted on a clear plastic cover that is over the tuning and volume area. T is also a little window under it, an opening w the volume setting shows through. The tuning is vernier, knob moves a lot faster and farther than the pointer (which is under the clear plastic) does. That's all the good news. Now 's the bad. It has a chip missing from the back right corner of the top, about 1 1/2" x 3/8" at its deepest part, and t is a 1/2" crack running out from the chipped place. If you set it on a shelf at or above eye level, no one else will ever know. Other than what has been described, the case is in really nice condition with only minimal scuffing.
