Up for your consideration today is a gorgeous Pottery Jug with cap. This uniquely designed Jug is a cream/white color on top and bottom with a beautiful desert scene painted over the middle portion of the jug. This scene is done is blacks, browns, and azure blue. T is a geometric design just under the desert scene that is very similar to other items of Navajo and Ute origin. The cap is solid cream in color. This piece is signed on the bottom but all I can make out looks like "LV indistinguishable". I cannot say with any certainty that this is a handpainted piece of authentic Native American art. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge in this area could identify and authenicate it. Until then, all I can say is that it is a beautiful piece and would be an asset to any collection or to your Southwestern decor. Both jug and cap are free of any damage, chips, cracks or damage. Dimensions : 9" tall cap on ; 6" through widest part of jug; 20" in circumference. Jug will be well-packed in bubble wrap and peanuts to ensure it's safe arrival.
