A superb Sowerby Glass 'Iris' vase and frog, coral pink, 1930s. This lovely and useful vase, pattern number 2505, consists of a vase shaped like an opening lily and a matching 'frog' that sits in the top of the vase. Unlike most frogs that have a number of holes, this one allows flower stems to be inserted around the edge or in the centre hole. It stands approximately 4" (10cm) tall, is 7 1/4" (18.5cm) at its widest and is in excellent condition with no marks or damage other than one or two very tiny 'nibbles' to the base of hole inside the frog. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this vase.
