From my personal vintage jewelry collection:Up for auction is this absolutely FABULOUS unsigned Regency bracelet. Several factors make me have no doubt of the designer: The "butterfly" design, however Weiss and Sherman had similar designs, the antiqued brass metalwork which was used consistently by Regency, and lastly, the familiar baguette in the jeweled clasp. Many times Regency would mark one or two pieces of a set, but not other pieces. I cam quite certain that this is the case The gorgeous rhinestones consist of several sizes of marquis and round-cut stones in pale yellow or citrine (a lemonade color), and rounds in bright peridot and aqua aurora borealis, flashing all the colors in the rainbow.The larger stones are set with 'dog toothed' or multiple prongs. T is a small pale citrine baguette rhinestone that adorns the sliding lock clasp. A safety chain is present for added security. All stones are faceted and mounted in the antiqued brass metalwork, a medium used quite often by this superb design house. This bracelet is in wonderful condition, created in a 3-dimensional layered design. I hope my photos bring out just some of its beauty, although I'm afraid they make the stones look kind of dark or dull. That is not the case, however.
