This auction is for the Bachmann SPECTRUM HO 81421 DCC Equipped EMC Gas Electric Doodlebug Locomotive with Trailer Coach Painted Unlettered - Pullman Green. First manufactured during the Great Depression, the EMC Gas Electric kept railroads in the passenger business through World War II. With a combine section and large passenger compartment in the locomotive itself, the Doodlebug provided extremely economical commuter and mainline service into the 1960s. Its efficiency made it popular throughout the United States and around the world. EMC Gas Electric features include: � DCC equipped for speed, direction, and lighting (8-pin NMRA plug) � 5-pole skew wound motor � flywheel drive � die-cast gear box � die-cast chassis � bronze bearing � directional headlight � lighted interior with seating details � operating baggage doors on locomotive � E-Z Mate� Mark II couplers � RP25 wheel contours � finescale detail parts. 72� trailer coach features include: � full, lighted interior � all-wheel electrical pickup � rubber diaphragms � die-cast trucks � E-Z Mate� Mark II couplers.
