Vintage St Clair Teapot Ring Holder. Handcrafted studio glass made in USA. One of the highest quality pieces we have ever held. Detail and color are exceptional! Black bottom really allows flowers to pop. The detail and shape of each flower is beyond compare! This is an amazing piece of glass! The flowers with bullicante (air bubbles) are perfectly proportioned and color is spectacular. No repairs, chips etc. I'm sure there may be light surface scratches, but cannot see any with my naked eye. It is truly captivating to pick it up by the knob and spin it around and just marvel at the flowers - each a separate work of art with a bubble center, creating a mesmerizing 3-D *world*. Photographs do not do justice to this piece. The sharpness of the flowers and clarity of glass must be seen in person to fully appreciate. Various settings were used to photograph the item, but with this type of glass, it can be difficult. We will be happy to photograph any part again - just ask! Also have the matching Ashtray (equally impressive), PM if interested in both. Age unknown, but would guess 74-87 Bob and Maude era, but maybe earlier or later (no stamp that we can see), again we are not experts on St Clair but understand that multiple generations have kept things rolling since 1938.
