Rare and Beautiful St Eduviges also known as St Hedwig Single Decade Rosary A medievil woman to be admired; St Eduwiges or Hedwig, was a Queen of Poland and mother of seven children. She cared for the sick by taking care of them herself and also using her riches and power to found hospitals. As a widow, she gave up all of her wealth to the poor and entered a monastery. This is a great little rosary for someone who is fascinated by medievil history, Polish history, or strong women who use their influence for good. This chaplet is a straight style, which means it has 10 Hail Mary beads in a straight line, one Our Father bead, and a Crucifix attached to the end with the Our Father bead; with a saint's medal on the other end. Used to pray the rosary or Divine Mercy by repeating the single decade over and over; you may also add prayers to the saint whenever you reach the medal. All the beads on this chaplet, also called a pocket rosary, are genuine Lilac stone, also called Lavender stone, a form of quartz which is gray to lavender in color and often has inclusions which appear as tiny gold specks.
