St Rita glass rosary measures a full 19 1/2 inches. Cat eye baby blue glass beads measuring 6mm. St Rita Rosary centerpiece is double sided....color image of St Rita on one side with a Our Lady of Guadalupe in metal detailing on the other. Silver plated crucifix measures 1 1/4 inches. Rosary has an attached St Rita relic medal made in Italy. Relic medal is very nicely detailed with the relic embedded into the backside of the medal. Also included is a full sized color fold out St Rita holy card with the story of the life of St Rita and Novena prayer to this powerful saint and intercessor. On the back of the relic medal you will find embedded a small piece of cloth set in red, which is the relic itself. Around the relic is engraved �EX INDUMENTIS� Latin for touched cloth. The relic medals I offer are all made in Italy. First Class Relics are an actual part of the saint (fragment of bone, a hair, a limb etc.) Second Class Relics are an item that the saint wore (a sock, a shirt, a glove, etc.) The 3rd Class Relics I offer for auction fall into one of either two categories. The first category is a piece of cloth which has been touched to a 1st or 2nd class relic of the saint. Second category : In cases where there is no known existing relic of a saint, the cloth has been touched to the shrine of the saint or to an apparition location. Relic rosary centers contain soil from shrines or Saint's graves, water from Lourdes, or third-class Saint cloth relics the same as the "ex indumentis" medals. It is prohibited by the Catholic Church to sell First and Second Class Relics. When the Church prohibits the selling of "Sacred Relics" it is referring to First and Second Class Relics.
