This auction is for a teapot and lid, sugar bowl and lid and creamer in Stangl pattern #1388 in the Colonial Blue color. This solid colored dinnerware was introduced in 1931 and preceeded Homer Laughlin's Fiestaware by five years. This set looks to be unused and is in mint condition. The creamer and sugar bowl retain their original foil labels and read "Stangl Pottery"; otherwise they are unmarked. The teapot is marked on the bottom "1388 Stangl USA". Buyers to pay actual shipping charges and insurance. Cashiers checks/money orders ship immediately; personal checks held for seven days
