The miter box was repainted with real baked on japanning and is in great shape. The miter saw is a 16" and 11 ppi cross cut, made by Disston and Sons, Its in very nice shape and great shape for its age. But it does have some rust scaring but it does nothing to it's performance. The shortness of the saw works well on this model of miter box. The saw was filed at 15 degrees rake and 25 degrees bevel . The saw has been jointed, sharpened and tuned to cut straight. and has a full plate ( it's almost 4" under the back ) and cuts very nice. The price has gone up for this miter box compared to the one's I have sold in the past. The cost to me has risen a lot lately and I had to increase the prices I sell for. Plus this one comes with a nice 16" Disston #4, there hard to find and cost more. Sorry for the price increase and thank you. I have done my best on the shipping costs but if I can find a less costly way I will refund any difference.
