You are bidding on one Stanley iron or blade or cutter for a 40-1/2 scrub plane as pictured.It is marked with the later style of the STANLEY sweetheart logo, and with a "+" or plus sign on the opposite side.Width is about 1-1/2", and overall length to the longest point is about 5-13/16".Condition is good, with lots of patina (color) but no pitting.I have a LOT of plane irons and parts to list, (Stanley and Sargent and many other makers) so please keep watching my other listings. The irons and chipbreakers were all mixed up, and in many cases I'm not sure which chipbreaker should go with which iron, so I'm going to sell many of them separately. Life is much simpler for me if I disclose what I know or see about an item before you bid, and especially before you receive it in the mail. I come from the handshake school of doing business, and hopefully you are like me and understand what that means. What goes around, comes around. RETURN POLICY: I believe that if you give honest descriptions, and include enough pictures, you shouldn't need a return policy. However, that doesn't mean that I won't make an occasional mistake. Please bid with the assurance that if I have made an error in my listing, I WILL take care of you. And if you have made an error, and bought the wrong size, for example, I will still take care of you (but I’ll let you pay the shipping!). SHIPPING INSIDE THE US: I would rather that you spend your money on my stuff, and not on shipping. So I try to pick the best shipping option for each listing, based on what is the least expensive, and what is needed to protect the item. I package well, and have a great track record of getting everything to each buyer, and getting it there in one piece. I use the US Post Office for everything, and I often find it is cheaper to use their Priority Mail flat rate boxes for heavier items (see below). WASHINGTON STATE BIDDERS: I hate to do this, but if I ship to a Washington address, no matter where you actually live, I either have to charge Washington State sales tax, or receive a valid resale form. AUCTIONS: I won’t end an auction listing early to sell it to you directly. As a bidder, I really dislike going back at the end of an auction to bid, only to discover that the seller had ended the auction early. So I won’t do that for you, or to you. WINNING MULTIPLE AUCTIONS: Wherever it makes sense, I will combine your purchases to save on shipping. But, after the auctions are over, you have to WAIT for me to put together your invoice, as the eBay computer cannot do that automatically.
