The globe is glass and the base is wood, or wood-like. The globe features a replica of the first Starbucks store in Seattle's Pike Place Market. T are people standing around the store in winter clothes. The music box plays 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas.' The snow is mixture of irridescent glitter and white snow. Stands 6 inches high. Globe circumference is 15 inches. Manufacture date is 1999. This globe is in perfect condition: no cracks, chips, or flaws. It does read 'From Mom 12/99' on the sticker on the bottom of the globe.
