's a nice estimated late '30s advertising pencil from STATE FARM INSURANCE COMPANIES of BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS. This pencil has a nice, bold printed view of the STATE FARM building and circle logos for each insurance subdivision. Below this is the name of the company and logo. The pencil is 4-7/8" long and uses .046" lead. Operating perfectly and has old residual eraser under the cap. Ad is positioned on a pearl ground with a black eraser cap with a red tip. The acutual maker of the pen is unknown, but the eraser cap is imprinted with AVE. SPEC. CO., INDP'LS, IND. A very nice ad pencil.
