Sterling Silver Whiting 'Imperial Queen' Sugar Tongs Whiting 'Imperial Queen' Sugar Tongs with a shell and scroll decoration in sterling silver. The Imperial Queen pattern number is 1893. The tongs have the mark of Whiting Manufacturing Co . founded in North Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1866. In 1926 the Gorham Co ., purchased the company and relocated to Providence, Rhode Island.The tongs are 3 9/16 " long and the claw of the tongs is 9/16 "wide and weigh 0.7 ounce.
