We are pleased to offer this BRAND NEW U.S. Navy Saint Christopher Medal on a 24" stainless steel CHAIN . The front of the medal has St. Christopher carrying the Christ child. Around the edge of the medal are the words St. Christopher Protect US . The U.S. Navy insignia is on the reverse. Measures 3/4" in diameter 24" Stainless Steel Chain Marked Sterling on reverse . St. Christopher's Patronage is related to travel because of his services. It is said he lived near a treacherous river, and that he carried the Christ Child safely across the stream. He also helped many travelers cross safely. Thus he became associated with safe travel by land, air, and sea.
