STILT SANDPIPER by HAROLD VAN DYCK of CLAYTON, DELAWARE Stilt Sandpipers feed on small mollusks, mosquito larvae, and aquatic plants. This life-size carving shows the bird in its winter plumage. I have been carving for over 35 years. I paint the carvings and mount them in the decoy style. Each carving has fine glass eyes and is mounted on a unique piece of driftwood that I personally select to complement the carving. I sign each bird underneath the tail and also sign and date the bottom of the driftwood base. The height from the base to the top of the head is about 7 ½ inches tall and the base is about 10 inches wide. This carving would be a great gift for any beach and bird enthusiast. Also, it is an affordable piece of original artwork. T H A N K S F O R L O O K I N G ! ! ! ! TERMS OF SALE PayPal is the required form of payment The buyer pays for shipping via USPS Priority mail.
