New-Old-Stock Suntour Cyclone Mark-II Rear Derailleur (Model RD-3500) Thank you for your interest in this item and please visit our store for other offerings. Product Description: This offering is for a new-old-stock (NOS) Suntour Cyclone Mark-II rear derailleur. Date coding indicates an early 80's production date and this is the smaller model (shorter pulley cage) from this era...the model RD-3500. Although, capacity limits are still respectable...with a maximum rear sprocket of 26T, a maximum front chainring differential of 15T and a total capacity of 28T (the latter defined as the combined front chainring/rear sprocket difference). Having said the above, maybe the most notable characteristic of these rear derailleurs is their weight...at 160 grams (which was one of the lightest production rear derailleurs of this era). From a product positioning standpoint, Suntour considered it's Cyclone derailleurs as part of their higher-end product offerings...and just one step below their Superbe models.
