A stunning collection of Rock Crystal type Intaglio cut Hock glasses. Each one is profusely decorated with a panoramic scene of a long tailed Bird beside columns embellished by a basket of flowers, vine covered trellis and various foliage. This lot comprises 7 tall white wine or water stems and 4 smaller. Size: Larger Stems - 8" shorter stems 6" Condition: excellent - t are no chips or cracks. I imagine they were made in around 1900 and probably from the Stourbridge region of the UK. Both Webb and Stevens and Williams as well as Richardson and others made "Rock Crystal" like this. It might also be American as I have seen similar designs by Sinclaire and Tuthill. More of the suite is being offered in my other auctions. Payment by PayPal prefered.
