Locals Patricia Lee and Alice Robins teamed up to produce this top notch account about bygone days, focusing on the years 1875 through 1925. In the introduction we're told that people started to arrive in Strong township as early as 1876. "This book is a record of those first settlers who came north on the Muskoka, Great North and Nipissing Roads and chose to settle on the shores of Lake Bernard," say the authors.
