Stunning Art Deco Scottie dog metal pipe holder from the 1930's . Made by L.V.Aronson, founder of Art Metal Works (also known as Ronson), Newark, N.J. He is exquisite! The "Ronson" products are regarded as one of the most creative of all art metal producers. This cute scottie is sitting up on hind legs with front legs up in the air, like he is begging. It is made of metal with a bronze and brass finish. The overall measurement is approx 6" long, 4" tall, 3" wide. The pipe holder still has its original partial label on the bottom which reads, "Ronson", and the number "16294" (see picture). The condition is amazingly very good - shows wear and some missing paint, but t are no chips, breaks, cracks, or repairs. This wonderful Ronson piece came from an estate in the San Francisco area, and is vintage. He has a great deco look - very charming and unique. A rare and wonderful find. Pictures don't do him justice. He is truly a quality deco piece, and would make a wonderful addition to someone's collection. Buyer pays shipping and insurance. Paypal, money orders, and checks are acceptable. Checks must clear before shipment. Thank you for bidding.
