Stylish Vintage 1950s Alfred Meakin "Parisian Scene" Coffee Set An opportunity to bid for a Stylish Vintage Alfred Meakin "Parisian Scene" Coffee set The set consists of a coffee pot,milk jug and sugar and five cups and six saucers Backstamped Glo -White ALFRED MEAKIN ENGLAND and Coffee Pot impressed ENGLAND 30 The pieces are decorated with what appears to be a Paris Scene- On the Coffee Pot and Saucers are shown a couple sitting at a cafe table by a Colonnaded building, on the other side of the Pot a smaller cameo of a woman walking a poodle. This lady walking the poodle is repeated on the cups and milk and sugar. The saucers are edged in pale blue as are the handles Very attractive set Condition Good, the only thing appears to be a tiny speck of wear to edge of spout Dimensions(approx) Coffee pot height 8ins milk jug height 2.5 ins cup height 2.5ins
