Up for bid is the "New Widescreen" version of the Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch LCD handheld. It has been owned by me personally since I bought it [okay, Mom did] off a Kmart shelf in the late 80's. It is in great shape--I just popped some new batteries in it the other day and everything works as expected. I played a few nostalgic levels, and then decided to sell it to someone who could keep on loving it.The item looks like a child of the 80's owned it. There are some scuffs and scratches [which I tried to capture in the auction image], but Nintendo built things pretty sturdily back in the day, and it looks and feels like it could live another 50 years. I'll include the week-old batteries in the auction.This is a great piece of history, and honestly, a pretty fun game, regardless of the nostalgia factor. Enjoy.
