A superb mid19thc Staffordshire figure modelled as two spaniel dogs decorated with feathered iron-red patches. One dog is sitting upon a large barrel while the other dog sits beside it. Good bright colours and both dogs very nicely marked and having fine faces. Height some 8.5" and some 6" long at base. This Staffordshire figure is in excellent and age commensurate condition. An area of discolouration to back and couple of small fine hairlines to front leg area of larger spaniel - see images please. A superb mid 19th century staffordshire figure of two spaniel dogs one of whom is sitting upon a large barrel which is very collectable. A fine addition to any Staffordshire collection.
