This is a superb example of an antique Gold Plate Full Hunter Pocket Watch, by Waltham, The pure white Face that has black Roman Numerals and blued metal hands, and is free from Hairline Cracks. the Gold Plated Case (that was guaranteed for 10 years) is in excellent condition.with all catches and hinges operation correctly, press the Crown and the Front Cover springs open to 90 degrees Crown wound and Set, the very reliable Waltham lever Movement identified by Waltham and serial numbered 17688118, that dares it at 1909, winds well, runs strongly and keeps good time. The Pocket Watch measures 2.0 inches diameter excluding the Crown and Loop, A classic Timepiece, well over 100 years old, ready for daily use Please excuse the reflections and shadows in the Pictures
