This fantastic banded agate casket measures 92mm (3.5'') x 55mm (2'') x 45mm (1.75'') high and weighs 180 grams. It has 8 banded agate bevelled panels mounted in a brass or bronze frame and dates to the mid 1800's and was designed to show off the natural colours of the agate. Unusually it is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips to any of the panels or repairs to the frame and may have originally had 4 simple bun feet on the corners. A genuine antique specimen box in good honest original condition sold with no reserve. International buyers are always welcome to this NO RESERVE auction. F.M.O.C.
