Welcome to capeanntiques. Up for bids are two nice quality vintage microphones: The first is a Superscope EC-5 Cardioid Condenser Microphone . It is made in Japan, I believe by Marantz. It has the original Superscope mic stand and it has an RCA adapter for plugging into a larger amp socket (in addition to the factory pin connector). In the battery compartment there is a tiny bit of corrosion on the spring top but the walls look pretty clean as far as I can see. There are some marks on the shaft that look like they are from popping it in and out of the mic stand. It has the original vinyl carrying case that is in nice shape. The EC-5 will be shipped with no battery because the only AAs I have are the rechargeables I use for my camera. The second is a Sony Electret ECM 16 Lapel Microphone . It's in good visual condition and retains the original Sony tie or lapel clip. The battery compartment looks pretty clean. It is marked Electret on the silver housing, and it says Sony Corp, Japan, EMC read more
