appx. 10.5" Queensware (porcelain-like) dinner-size rim-shape commemorative souvenir college view plate for the school's centennial (1864-1964) with black on white monochrome underglaze engraved transfer decoration, with elaborate embossed/raised rim with reeded sections alternating with oak leaf clusters and circular reserves with Quaker heads etc and with central image of Tree Planting on the campus of Swarthmore College (Swarthmore, PA), by Wedgwood, 1964 (impressed date a little unclear, maybe 63) in very crisp/perfect condition with little wear and no crazing. No damage, loss or restoration. Famous prestigous PA small college. Nice quality. Scene shows people in antique clothes, planting trees--probably when the college was founded. Standard Wedgwood marks + title + date + special Swarthmore backstamp etc on back. Check or Paypal, US$. US priority insured shipping is $9, non-US at cost.
