A Swedish Barrel Knife of Unknown maker with virtually no labeling other than the numeral "1" stamped on the tang of the blade. The construction of the knife is almost identical to those produced by Jon Engstrom with the exception of the blade which has a some what drop point cut. The overal lenght is 7 1/8 inches measuring from the lanyard to the blade tip The knife is very solid and secure in it's locking mechanism. The blade has maintained approxametally 95% of it's original size with only a minimum of sharpening. Both bolsters show a minimum of surface rust and patina. The wooden barrel is uncracked and in good shape with it's original patina and a measurement of 3 3/4 inches. My suspision is that this is one of the knives fabricated in Eskilstuna, Sweden by a number of manufactures and distributed to the US market by an Importer by the name of Zinn in the late 1920's Additionally the barrel has two small sets of initials carved into both sides. One is J.T.B. and the other is P.S.B. An interesting piece to say the least. If more than one listed item is purchased please let me know as it will reduce the cost of shipping
