This is a large thangka and done with a wealth of detail, work and of course gold nonetheless! Again an absolute rock bottom price for a thangka of this caliber. I would really encourage you to compare the quality of our thangkas versus those of the more commercial or business oriented sellers on ebay. This thangka measures 26 x 18 inches inclusive of the borders I do offer brocading services for all thangkas I have on offer. I do not offer brocading services in polyester or fake chinese silk. I have a very large array of brocades which I would be delighted to email you images of so you may customize your brocade colors or, which I do recommenced, you may allow brocade master to choose the combination of colors which compliment your thangka best. The brocade process does take approx 2 weeks to accomplish- a good lesson in patience but well worth the wait I assure you! Depending upon the size of your thangka and the grade of silk your desire I will give you a quote on how much it would cost to brocade your thangka :) When leaving feedback in time for shipping, do take this additional time factor into consideration should you choose the brocade option. What I do know, is that I have been learning of thangka art for the last 45 years and aim to bring the best representation of this art to you at the most equitable price points your budget will allow. I am neither a large gallery, or a showroom or institution which some sellers boast. What I can say, with an open heart, is that I have been blessed to work with and connect with some of the most wonderful thangka artists in the sub continent. Chances are the selection, quality and beauty of thangkas which I will offer will be second to none. It is common practice to browse through the thousand plus listings of thangkas on ebay and find that 90% of them are chinese thangkas that are coined to be ' antique thangka 100 year old' or ' nepal master thangka'. Nothing could be further from the truth. A majority of these are mass produced thangkas on commercial canvas whose outlines are printed and then filled in by regular workers in the nature of a production line. Neither are these 'thangkas' ( as they are not hand painted with mineral and true gold), nor are these 'Tibetan' as they are made in china ( in truth is is near impossible to even find thangka art being openly practiced in Tibet in this day and age) nor as these 'thangka masterpieces ( since a true masterpiece would cost several thousand dollars).This leaves 10% of the other thangka listings on ebay. 9% of those are actual thangkas from nepal.
