This listing is for 1 piece of Swiss made Maxon 9 pole Coreless motor with 2 mm shaft and precision bearings. It will coast when power is interrupted. This motor turns 14,000 rpm at 12 volts and because it has almost 3 oz inches of stall torque it is ideal for heavy duty raod engines with ratios as high as 48 to 1!!! On my throttle i get more than 12 volts and this motro cranks 17,000 rpm!! It is 22 mm (Diameter) and 32 mm long. The flywheel is not included in this listing but is available for additional $5 and With the flywheel it will coast several seconds-no load . This is a Coreless "Rolls Royce quality" can motor * for brass or plastic loco diesel or steam loco. It flywheels a few seconds and thats enough to coast you through switchwork for several inches to prevent stalling the steam or diesel locomotive through dirty or rough track. I thave tached them at 11,000 rpm and will offer pictures in future listing. Have plenty of the 2642 12 volt and 25 pieces of the 18 volt. Fiits Large HO steam road engines and all of the wide body covered wagon units 22 mm is about 1/8 inch less than 1 inch.(7/8ths inch) That should fit most S scale and O scale, ON3 and Sn3 Narrow gauge diesel and steam. This motor delivers about 1 oz inches of stall torque. This is a Swiss made precision 9 Pole coreless motor with precious metal brushes (silver and gold). This 9 pole coreless motor is 22 mm diameter and 32 mm long in the body. The escap 26 mm by 30 mm unit can be substituted and may be usable in a lot of tight spaces!! These motors flywheel 10 seconds when power is interrupted with a flywheel- no load!!! and and in the locomotive your engine will coast a few inches through dirty or rough trackwork!! Motorman can make custom flywheels to fit your space. Because this is a large motor it will only fit in the large Steam, The short locomotive pictured is a Rivarossi 2-8-4 berkshire and may require some work to fit a center shaft assembly in that offset system. These motors will power the older HO Rivvy mallett, cab forward, challenger or big boy!! With the offset drive system. The HO cab forward on motormans website pictured has coreless 16 mm by 24 motors with center shaft gearheads in 6.3 ratio and required milling of the chassis---A single motor at the rear may be easier to install. 2 of the 2020 or 2630 gearmotors motors will work. The two 6 volts motor in the cab forward pictured has 6.3 to 1 ratio and hits about 45 miles per hour at 12 volts and will coast for 12 to 14 inches after power is turned off!!! See other listings for the smaller 15 and 16 mm motors. Also other larger offset and center shaft gearmotors are available for all scales!! Coreless motors flywheel when the power is interrupted so takes you through dirty track and prevents stalling. Many more precision coreless motors and swiss gearheads available from the motorman!!
