c.1920s Locomotive Publishing Company, F. Moore's,Railway Photographs Postcard Glasgow & South Western Railway, 403 (Austrian Goods) Class 2-6-0, Engine No. 55 These locomotives were given the nickname Austrian Goods because it was thought that the engines were built from materials that North British Locomotive had gathered for a contract for Austria which was cancelled when World War I broke out.
